By comparison, a week ago there were still around a million people who want to receive news from the manufacturer about Nokia 6. With 1.4 million, there are now as many prospective customers for the new Android smartphone of the Finnish company, as the greater Helsinki area has inhabitants. After the smartphone division from Nokia had passed to Microsoft, the new devices now come from the Finnish company MHD Global. The Nokia 6 makes the beginning . The smartphone has a screen diagonal of 5.5 inches. The IPS display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels as well as a pixel density of 403 pixels. With the dimensions of 154 x 75.8 x 8.4 mm, it is good in the hand and weighs an average of 169 grams.
Beginner model with Snapdragon 430
In addition to the HD resolution, the internal life of the Nokia 6 is more suitable for beginners: Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430 clocks with eight cores with 1.4 gigahertz and a working memory of three gigabytes. This means that the performance is not located in the top segment, but offers more than enough power for everyday life. In the limited color variant Arte Black, the Nokia 6 accommodates four gigabytes and 64 GB of memory, but at a higher price than the four standard versions (Matte Black, Tempered Blue, Silver and Copper).
The internal memory of 32 gigabytes can be extended with a microSD card up to 128 gigabytes. The main camera resolves with 16 megapixels and has a dual-LED flash and a f / 2.0 aperture. The front camera brings along a decent eight megapixels and a field of view of 84 degrees and is more than suitable for Selfies.
Also on the front of the Nokia 6 is a fingerprint sensor for unlocking the smartphone. The battery is fixed in the phone and has 3000 mAh. By default , Android Nougat (7.1.1) is installed in the stick version . Under the motto "Pure, secure and up-to-date", HMD Global wants to provide new updates and security patches for the Nokia 6 on a regular basis.
Price and availability
At the time of the performance, the Nokia 6 was exclusively available in China . There it costs 1699 Chinese yuan (circa 233 euros) and was already sold out within 23 seconds for the first time. As of the end of June 2017 the Nokia 6 will be available in Germany for a price of 229 euros.
