German carmaker Daimler has invested with a newly-established Volocopter business group in the project to create an automatic electric taxi. And so far, Daimler has already invested $ 30 million for the project.
As shown in the picture, Volocopter is producing its own self-powered electric car Volcanopter 2X With a rotating machine, 18 rotor types and maximum flying speeds of 100 km per hour.
Its average flight time is 27 minutes, connects 9 lithium-ion batteries, and Volocopter 2X can charge a full charge, typically 2 times. It comes with the Fast Charging technology, with only 40 minutes of charging (full).
The Volocopter 2X passenger taxi comes with a safety and emergency parachutes, it can carry two passengers without pilots.
German company Volocopter plans to work with the Dubai Transportation Authority of Thailand to test the Volocopter 2X, the world's first automatic jet taxi.
