Galaxy S8: Samsung distributes worldwide Bixby updates

The release of Galaxy Note 8 is approaching and Samsung apparently wants to settle an invoice, which the manufacturer has open with users of the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus. In Germany and many other countries, the manufacturer is to distribute updates for his AI assistance.

When the Galaxy S8 appeared, Samsung admitted that the language control of the AI assistance Bixby will later work outside of South Korea . Even at that time we suspected that the manufacturer will be very hard to get the system to run until the release of Galaxy Note 8. Now, the presentation of the phantom is approaching and Samsung has, as SamMobile reports, in Germany and many other countries started to distribute updates for Bixby.

Bixby Voice not yet active

According to the report, the dictation function of Bixby is supposed to work in Germany after installing the updates, even if the quality is supposed to leave something to be desired. The language control of the smart assistance on the Galaxy S8 runs after the update wave neither in Germany nor in one of the remaining countries, in which Samsung the fresh software has distributed.

Open is now, when Samsung will finally activate Bixby Voice in Germany - and in which language the service can then be used. In the end it was said that the manufacturer could make the function globally usable in English , before further languages are supported. The Galaxy Note 8 will be presented on August 23rd and will be released on September 15th - and it is quite possible that Samsung would like to show a positive development with regard to Bixby at the launch of the new flagship model.
