Available in two variants and with a starting price tag of RM408,327 the Alphard competes directly with the Nissan Elgrand. Both variants are powered by a 3.5-litre 2GR-FE dual-VVTi V6 mill that is paired to a six-speed torque converter type automatic transmission with sequential shifter. Power output for this combo is rated at 271hp at 6,200rpm and 340Nm of torque at 4,700rpm.
