On the OnePlus 5 Homescreen, the app icons change: OnePlus's flagship model for the year 2017 uses a customized version of Android - the so-called OxygenOS. The operating system offers you a variety of ways to customize appearance and behavior - as well as the app icons. We will tell you how to configure the small pictures.
Customize the icons
To change your preferences on the OnePlus 5 Icons, you must first tap and hold a free area of the start screen. A number of options, including background images, widgets, and settings, will appear. Select the latter option to go to the settings menu that specifically deals with the Homescreen.
In the settings menu, select "Icon Pack". Now you will see which packages for App icons you have installed on the OnePlus 5 - and how they appear when you activate them. Three packs are available: "OnePlus", "Round" and "Square". In the "Icon Pack" display, however, installed packages from third-party vendors are also listed.
Icon packages from third-party vendors
If the selection on the OnePlus 5 is not enough, you can use Icon packages from third-party vendors. In the Google Play Store, a variety of such icon packs are available for download: for example, the somewhat playful " Andromeda Icon Pack " or the " Memies Icon Pack " is based on the material design. If you want to invest some money in the appearance of the start screen and like 3D optics, you can, for example, the " Tigad Pro Icon Pack " which cost 1.29 euros.
